Dan Brothers is well known for great prices on name brand all leather shoes and exotic skins. Quality shoes at great prices has been our motto for over 70 years.
We carry a range of styles and sizes that chain stores don't. We have large sizes going up to size 18 in some styles as well as carrying a variety of widths, not just medium but wide and narrow, when available, also.
Our focus has always been on the customer. A satisfied customer is a repeat customer and we pride ourselves on excellent customer service. With an old-fashioned atmosphere along with some cutting edge styles we combine the best of classic and fashion footwear.
Founded by Dan Rufo in the mid-1930’s Dan Bros. has been a community social center for 70 years. It started as a shoe repair operation and expanded, at first selling repaired shoes that no one picked up and slowly building up an inventory. Dan Bros. became nationally recognized with well known sports figures and celebrities along with local politicians stopping by to grab a pair of shoes, or catch up on all the local news. Dan Bros. has served not just locals but also such athletes as Roger Clemens and Rod Carew, boxers Sugar Ray Leonard and Muhammad Ali, NAACP President Kweisi Mfume, former Mayor Kurt L. Schmoke, and former Gov. William Donald Schaefer. Dan Bros. is committed to providing a customer experience that larger chains just can not match with more personal service and attention to the customer.
